Annika joined Gordon Thomas Honeywell Governmental Affairs 2018 while finishing her studies at the University of Washington. Annika started as an intern and before transitioning into her role as a State Lobbyist. She works on a team with Josh Weiss representing a combination of public and private clients, including counties, cities, an economic development coalition, and a coalition of private
timber companies. Annika and Josh have shared clients throughout the entire length of her tenure at the firm and she has subsequently developed a strong understanding of a variety of legislative issues. Annika has developed an impressive set of legislative relationships in her short career.
Annika is adept at contextualizing complicated subject matter and conveying the nuance of her client’s positions. Her natural curiosity and passion for policy make her a strategic advocate for her clients’ priorities at the Legislature.
Annika graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She a proud Olympia native and currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
