Campaign season is upon us in Washington, and our team at GTH-GOV is closely monitoring the elections. With filing week come and gone, candidates are narrowing their focus on re-election. Half of the Senate and the entire House of Representatives are up this year. Other key statewide races include the Governor’s Office, Commissioner of Public Lands, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Attorney General, and Office of Insurance Commissioner. Washington state voters are indeed keeping a close eye on their Congressional races.
All 10 of Washington’s Congressional seats are up for re-election, alongside one of the state’s two Senate seats.

Finally, voters will decide whether to approve or deny three initiatives on the ballot in November: Overturning the state’s Climate Commitment Act, making the WA Long Term Care insurance program optional, and repealing the state’s capital gains tax.
