Devin Gayton has spent over 10 years working for Washington State in various roles. Devin is a lifelong Puget Sound resident and has spent much of his professional career working to make the Puget Sound area and Washington State a better place to live. He previously worked in the licensing unit with the Department of Financial Institutions, and before that he was non-partisan staff for the Office of Program Research (OPR) with the Washington State House of Representatives as a Senior Committee Assistant. During his time with OPR he helped staffed the House Education committee as well as numerous other House committees and Task Forces. Prior to his time with OPR he served as a wildland firefighter with the Department of Natural Resources and as an AmeriCorps member in the Washington Conservation Corps through the Department of Ecology.
As a Washingtonian, he enjoys spending time outdoors and rooting for several local sport teams. Devin is a dual graduate of The Evergreen State College, receiving his undergraduate degree in 2010, and his Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in public policy in 2021. Devin lives in Olympia with his wife and their dog, Boomer.
